dTOOR announces Addison Karolick as CTO
New executive will focus on product improvements and future development strategy
Bellevue, WA, USA (March 23, 2021) – dTOOR Inc. SPC, a sustainable smartphone company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Addison Karolick as Chief Technology Officer. Addison brings a combination of consumer electronics experiences across smartphones, hardware, and embedded engineering. Previously Addison has worked as a software engineer, systems engineer, and senior embedded system engineer on hardware for projects on behalf of large organizations such as Samsung, Environmental Tectonics, Spatial Networks, and DRS Tactical Systems. Prior to joining dTOOR, Addison founded her own tech startup in San Francisco, called IsoLEDed.
Addison is a welcome addition to the company as dTOOR is scaling healthfully to meet consumer demand for dTOOR’s latest product, The Cyrcle Phone 4G LTE with Android 10. This innovative smartphone features everything you would expect from a sophisticated mobile phone, and more: a 13MP selfie camera, dual SIM, dual USB, dual headphone jacks, and a human temperature sensor. Addison has been instrumental in making the product consumer ready, with improvements to the UI and driver tweaks.
The Cyrcle Phone comes at an excellent time in the current market forecast. According to statistics released by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the organization which hosts the worlds largest consumer conference of CES each year, consumer spending stands 20% higher in May 2021 compared to before the pandemic in May 2019. Further, upgrades and handset replacements are predicted to cause smartphone revenues to increase 15% this year, and mobile phones are expected to see further growth over the next several years as most consumers hop onto ever-growing networks. With this expected surge in demand, and a cleverly designed phone at the waiting, dTOOR enthusiastically welcomes Addison Karolick as Chief Technology Officer.
